Il Saraceno Grand Hotel is set in a magnificent stone building spread over seven terraces which lead from the road to sea level - taking full advantage of the spectacular views of the beautiful Amalfi coast - The decor is just as impressive - with bedrooms and public areas designed in traditional Moorish style with colourful ceramic flooring and dark wooden Arabic style furniture - The 56 bedrooms and suites are very spacious and bright and most offer sea views with a balcony or terrace from which to enjoy them - Guests looking for somewhere to eat or drink will be spoilt for choice - The hotel offers an atmospheric bar with a large terrace overlooking the sea which is furnished with wrought iron furniture in perfect Saracen style - The breakfast room also offers the choice of sitting indoors or outside on the terrace to enjoy the buffet breakfast - And there are two restaurants - both serving typical regional Italian cuisine - one of which invites guests to dine on the outdoor terrace overlooking the beach and offering splendid views of the sea during the summer months - Relaxation is not forgotten - with a sea water swimming pool and a private beach - both reached by elevators from the hotel - The beach bar can be found at the castle built around the ruins of an eleventh century fortress - With the delights of Amalfi town just a couple of miles away - the location of Il Saraceno Grand Hotel could not be better - We look forward to welcoming you at our fabulous hotel
