Hospes Madrid is a member of Design Hotels. Hospes Madrid’s splendid building was designed by the architect José María de Aguilar in 1883 following a request from the Duchess Widow of General Prim. The building can be included into the architectural eclecticism current in the Restoration period. What used to be a model of a house for several families and after several years of painstaking renovation now harbours a welcoming combination of elegance, architecture, gastronomy and pure revitalization.
